About me

Before joining the profession at the tender age of 36, I spent 14 years working in a foreign bank in the City of London and then 5 years self-employed. I've sold eggs and spuds from a van in East Anglia, painted & decorated in England and Wales and been a produce assistant for a major retailer at Canary Wharf,. I've jumped out of a plane twice ... with a parachute (two if you include the emergency one strapped to my waist) and run fifty half-marathons, three full marathons (Gloucester, Madrid & London) and completed countless other races over lesser distances. I've recently completed a course as a Civil Celebrant so I can now officiate at my own funeral every time I die on stage! I also read to stroke patients twice a month for Interact Stroke Support when not otherwise engaged.
