About me
Since the age of 3, the theatre has been my home. The last 20 years (pre-pandemic), I lived in NYC & LA also working in Film & TV. As a classically trained soprano, I enjoy concert, studio & session work. But most of all, as an artist, I love the collaborative, creative process.Self-Recording
I use a Tonor Pro microphone with Avid editing software for all VoiceOver and vocal recordings as well as occasionally Garage Band for laying down new tracks. And, camera work is done on a Canon EOS, Nikon V1 or iPhone depending on the project. I edit video footage in several different apps as well as via iMovie and Premiere Pro. And, I'm a proficient graphic designer working in the full Adobe Suite including XD, Illustrator, Photoshop, Lightroom and Figma.License & Passport

Highlights

Kellie Aiken is a versatile American actress with a chameleon-like ability to morph into the characters she portrays. She began her work in theatre at the age of 3, where she developed an early passion for and cultivated her skills in the craft of acting, music and dance. She graduated with a BA in Theatre and a BA in Mass Communication from Winthrop University. Upon graduation, she toured for a year with Stageworks Improvisational Theatre Company and then moved to New York, NY.
While in New York, Aiken studied opera at The Juilliard School and trained in method acting with her mentor, Vincent D'Onofrio.
In 2003, Aiken played Meip Gies in the Off-Broadway production of "The Diary of Ann Frank," and followed that performance with work at The Bernie West Theatre as Rose in "The Wool Gatherer," Desdemona in "Othello," and Gwendolen in "The Importance of Being Earnest." At The Manhattan Theatre Club she created the role of Mary Kate in "Famous Ghost Monologues," and then followed up that performance with "Oleanna" at The Atlantic Theatre Company as Carol, a college student who is far more complex and driven than she appears. She also performed a series of sketch comedy shows with the independent satirical company "The Billionaires for Bush."
In 2006, Aiken filmed the role of wife for the short film "Defending the Caveman," which runs at the beginning of the one-man show in over a dozen live productions in the United States and internationally. She utilized her gymnastic and stunt background skills in working on Spiderman 3 (2007), played the best friend, Vicki, of an alien werewolf in the sci-fi indie thriller Amazon Rage (2006). And, the temptress Kelly, to Mikey in Grand Slammed (2010).
Aiken portrayed Amelia Earhart in the one-woman show Amelia's Flight at Rockefeller Center in 2008, And, after working on Broadway, Off-Broadway and gaining experience in numerous independent films and television, she relocated to Los Angeles.
In 2010, she became the spokesmodel for Xenadrine, filmed the lead in Farhad Besharati's music video "Remember" and played the Midwestern young mother, Piper Douglas, on an episode of America's Court. She then filmed the pilot for a new relationship makeover show The Sexperts (2011) as the fantasy coach and host. That fall, Aiken worked on Desperate Housewives as Young Susan's teacher.
Throughout her first few years in Los Angeles, Aiken was the Special Events Manager for the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza where she utilized her background in the entertainment industry to plan and oversee numerous premier parties, charity galas, film shoots and promotions for studios, entertainment agencies and production companies.
Aiken completed filming her role in the Mark Wahlberg film The Gambler (2015) as his mother, Roberta, in flashback sequences, and is awaiting the post-production completion of the turn-of-the-century film The Ningyo (2016). She has appeared on True Blood, Togetherness and the IFC sketch comedy show Birthday Boys. As well as recently filming Petals on the Wind (2014) and is in the independent film You're Not You (2014) with Hilary Swank.
Most recently, Aiken just finished filming the CBS pilot Four Stars as Valerie "Candy" Fitzgerald, is in development of her new web-series Cats and has started producing, planning and designing private events independently.
Aiken volunteers with the Los Angeles Conservatory at the American Film Institute, performs at The Lonny Chapman Theatre and the Group Repertory Company, and is the cantor for Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Beverly Hills.
