About me
Born in the suburbs of New York, Giselle was 19 when she was accepted into the Drama Studio London and moved to the UK to pursue her love of British theatre. Her first role was in the West End musical ‘Bar Mitzvah Boy’ by Jack Rosenthal, Jule Styne and Don Black at Her Majesty’s Theatre. Since then, Giselle has continued to play leading and principal roles in television and theatre.These include Leah in ‘The Dybbuk’ – BBC Play of The Month. Bianca in ‘Women Beware Women’, ‘Nancy Astor’; ‘2 Point 4 Children’ and ‘Too Much Sun’ also for the BBC. Other leading theatre roles include, Cocteau’s one-woman play ‘The Human Voice’; Emily in ‘Anatol’; Marguerite in ‘A Cuckoo in the Nest’, Joanne in ‘Company’, Louise in ‘Gypsy’, ‘Oh What a Lovely War’, Molly Grant in “One Touch of Venus, Dolly in ‘The Angel.
Then there was her one-woman show-‘Voices from the Heart’.
In California, Giselle has played the title roles in ‘Molly’ by Simon Gray and ‘Celadine’ by Charles Everad and, the roles of Lucia in ‘The Long Christmas Dinner’ and The Insane Woman in ‘Pullman car Hiawatha’ for The Piccadillo Theatre Company in NYC.
Wolf understudied Alex Kingston, Margo Leicester and Sarah Hadland in ‘Admissions’ at the Trafalgar Studios and went on to play the leading role of Sherri on numerous occasions.
Giselle appeared in a short- ‘Conversations Around a Dinner Table’ taking a leading role, Aklae. She most recently played the role of Hannah Arendt in a rehearsed reading of ‘As Happy as God in France’ and ‘ A Manchester Girlhood’ with Pascal Theatre Company
Her cabaret appearances have been at Pizza on the Park (London); Crazy Coqs (London), The Gardenia (LA) and several guest appearances with Ron Abel at Birdland (NYC). Giselle has performed her cabaret at the Rubicon International Theatre Festival and California International Theatre Festival in Calabasas and at the Metropolitan Room (NYC) on numerous occasions.
