Who are Casting Call Pro?

Casting Call Pro was setup in 2004 to make the life of actors just a little bit easier. Whilst we can't guarantee you a job, ensure you get cast or even tell you about every audition, we're going to do our best.

We've combined the technology team behind the hit recruitment site Film Crew Pro with feedback, advice and suggestions from hundreds of professional actors. Casting Call Pro was the result, a site which alerts you to upcoming contacts, whilst keeping you in touch with the acting community.

What can Casting Call Pro do for me?

Casting Call Pro allows you (the professional actor) to list your resume and portfolio on our central online database, accessible to casting agents and professionals. Our unique profile tagging mechanism enables us to instantly alert you to upcoming casting which match your skills. No more trawling through the stage and the mediaguardian, now all the information you need is in one place.

And as if that didn't sound enough, we take the application process to the next step, enabling you to get feedback from casting directors directly through the site, network with other actors and actresses and also browse our comprehensive resource database.

So what does it all cost?

It costs nothing to join Casting Call Pro, we offer all our basic services entirely free of charge. Once you have joined Casting Call Pro and had your resume examined by one of our team you can apply for unpaid positions on the casting call board and network with other users. You can at any time upgrade this basic service by selecting one of our optional advanced packages which include useful additional features such as a comprehensive portfolio section.

Simon Dale, Director Before Casting Call Pro was a twinkle in his eye, Simon, 38, was the Online Services Support Manager for Production Base, where, for 4 years, he managed a customer support team and worked closely with both crew and production companies to ensure the smooth running of the UK's leading recruitment site for TV & film. Prior to Production Base he worked for a literary agent a film production company. In 2004, together with Chris, he set up Casting Call Pro.

Chris Timms, Director The techie of the group, Chris has spent the last ten years developing online recruitment websites, with a particular focus on the Theatre and Film & TV industry. Now 34, when not tinkering away on the system you can often find him complaining about the prohibitive price of theatre tickets.
