Highlights
-
I'm currently an undergraduate first year drama student at the University of Hull, UK. I've always been involved in productions throughout high school such as playing Abigail in 'The Crucible' and Blanche Dubois in 'A Streetcar Named Desire'. In 2010 I voiced over for 'a right blether' DVD (scotland's commisioner for children and young people) this has been sent out to school's all over scotland. I have achieved a dance leadership award and have been a dance assistant in tap and jazz. My hobbies include ballet, horseriding, reading literature, watching theatre and playing poker. From a student perspective the main aim for me is to achieve a good degree, already i feel i've learn't so much in terms of actor training. The connections that i make in Hull will help prepare me for the drama industry (such as Hull truck theatre company). I have sound understandings in other elements of drama such as costume, lighting, sound and construction. Things that inspire me are actor's such as Marlon Brando, practitioners such as Konstantin Stanislavski and theatre companies such as Mabou Mines. I am extremely passionate about this art form and hope to eventually become a working actor.
