Highlights
-
I have a lot of amateur modelling experience. I have recently done a lot of work with ashmorevisuals, who are a leading photography company based in Warwickshire. I lived abroad for a year in Paris (2010-2011) and during that time I interned for Matthew Williamson during Spring Paris fashion week.
-
I have either acted in, or directed, a play every year since the age of 8. Recent amateur theatre roles have ranged from lead shakespearean parts: Hero in 'Much Ado about Nothing', which went on to the professional venue of The Belgrade theatre in Coventry; a one woman South African play: 'Cheaper than Roses'; Emily in 'Emily of Emerald Hill' which went onto the professional venue of Camden People's theatre.
I have also played: Gwendolyn in 'The Importance of being Ernest'; Mrs Arbuthnot in 'A woman of no Importance'; Maria in 'Twelfth Night'; Beatrice in 'A view from the Bridge'.
During my time at The University of Warwick, I had my own hour-long radio show called: 'Tales from Abroad and other chit-chat', which was a show based on my experiences of living abroad in Paris. I have a lot of experience of radio drama. Recently I have played the role of Titania in 'A Midsummer night's dream'; I have also played several roles in the children's radio series: Bryony Brownwell's Mystery Project which is currently being aired on the national children's radio station: Fun Kids.
I am a jazz singer but I am classically trained. I was the lead member of the Jazz band Jig (a Cheltenham College based jazz band). I play the guitar and I take contemporary dance classes. Having lived in Paris, I am fluent in French. During my time there I took a number of acting modules at Nanterre University and I feel now competent to act using the French language. I also speak Spanish. I would say that I have a talent for accents, and being a linguist I am quick to learn new things. I am a hugely versatile actress and I push myself to the limits in everything I do. I never do anything without putting 100% of my efforts into it. I am a passionate person and very driven.
