I have extensive film and voiceover experience covering genres such as comedy, horror and drama in a range of accents, and I have appeared in several award-winning productions including Sarah's Room, Judas Goat and Above and Below.
Recent commercial VO work includes a BooHoo.com sponsorship advert for STV, The Fountainbridge Show sponsorship advert on STV, extensive CTAs for Gov Radio and a comedic advert for uSellHomes.co.uk. I also did the voiceover for the entire Cutty Sark Ship at Greenwich, London in character as the ship's figurehead Nannie Dee, plus in neutral lowlands for the radio advert.
I have starred in a variety of audio productions, such as Above and Below, the BBC award-winning online audio drama playing Sarah Skyvaca (Standard American), The Drummer and the Drone, artist Craig Coulthard's Edinburgh Arts Festival film installation playing The Announcer (neutral lowlands), The Ecliptic book trailer for award-winning novelist Benjamin Wood's new book playing the female protagonist Knell (Glasgow) and The Bhudda and the Monkey King, the children's physical theatre show playing The Narrator.
In 2013 I set up New Wave Voices Recording Project, which documented the lives of migrants who have come to live in Scotland through conversation and storytelling. The project is supported by Edinburgh-based charity The Welcoming and combined my passions of social equality and the power of the voice. I also produce mini audio shows ranging from documentaries to more experimental audio dramas in my free time.
I was an English and Drama teacher to 3-6 year old Spanish children in Seville for two years.
