He has performed in several theatre productions most notably playing Vincent Van Gogh in Nicholas Wrights "Vincent In Brixton", and playing Simon Bliss in Noel Cowards "Hay Fever", for the Maddermarket Theatre, gaining several excellent reviews. Other roles include the lead role Victor in Tom Louden's Inertia, Marais in Joanna Swan's, "De Sade-The Descent Of Man", and Larry Banks in Alan Ayckbourn's "Wildest Dreams".
He has also narrated short stories for BBC Norfolk on the project "This Norfolk Life" and provided voice-overs for "The Bridewell Museum Audio Tour", for Renvision.
In addition to this he has collaborated with the surrealist art photographer Marco Sanges on two photo-plays , "The Blood Of A Gambler" and "Unchained Melodies" for exhibition and publication. These projects evolved into a short film called "Circumstances", in 2008 and won the Best Art Film at the Portobello Fim Festival. In 2010 this art film became the focus or an art installation called "Big Scenes at the Hackney Empire. Alex also acted in a Nosferatu inspired shoot playing the Thomas Hutter character for the photographer Antonella Muscat.
Most recently Alex has acted in a music video for the band Baron for Carwell Casswell, an interactive video for Xenodu Ltd, a short film called "Twentynine" for NUCA film students and a short art film called, "Blue Light" directed by the artist Hayley Lock and written by the science fiction writer Liz Williams. | | | Any other information | Alex is currently focusing on screen, photographic and voice work. He is in the process of developing a few voice-over projects narrating poems, excerpts from plays and short stories collaborating with the French composer Thomas Zobrist and sound engineer Chris Bond.
In 2012 Alex made his directorial debut directing a music video with photographer friend Alexandra Bone for the recording artist Sanguine Sea for the single "Until The Cavalry Come"
