About me
I am a visual artist (painter) and performer based in London. Multidisciplinary artist. I write poetry, I act and sing. I also do some modelling for various photographers.--
I am a French artist (painter), performer and actress living and working in London. I originally studied Mathematics in Paris but went on to study drama at Cours Florent in Paris and was involved in intensive workshops with Jack Waltzer, the famed coach to stars like Sigourney Weaver and Dustin Hoffman. I appeared in a number of films including the feature documentary “The First Film” directed by David Wilkinson that won Best Documentary Feature at the Edinburgh International Film Festival 2015. More recently, I also took part in the documentary ‘Getting Away with Murder(s)’ directed by David Wilkinson. I have appeared in a number of fringe theatre productions and in several indie movies.
I studied art as well and completed an MA in Fine Art at Camberwell College of Arts, London 2016. I also participated in the Slade Summer School.
Since then, my paintings have been exhibited in several group shows in London, New York, Miami, Paris and the South of France. I had several solo shows in London, including ‘Symphony of Colours’ in Mayfair (2017). My artworks have featured in poetry collections including ‘Echoing’ published by Ampersand. I created a work specially for the Bonhams’ auction in support of the Grenfell Tower victims (2018). I took part in workshops organised by the Digital Maker Collective at Tate Exchange, Tate Modern.
Over the past three years, I have been collaborating intensely with the Vortex Jazz Club, creating music and art simultaneously with improvising musicians and artists using similar sonic and visual approach. I have improvised live painting in response to music during The London Jazz Festival in 2017 and 2019 at the Vortex, at Toulouse Lautrec Jazz Club in 2021 and during the Inntoene Jazz Festival in Austria.
I curate and perform in multidisciplinary, experimental and immersive live performances called ‘Résonances’, merging visual art, musical performances, poetry and dance. I have designed album covers released on Babel Label in 2019, 2020 and 2022. I recently joined the team of ‘Women in Jazz Media’ and collaborate with South Hill Park Arts Centre on a multidisciplinary project 'Feeling the Beat'.
Alongside my acting performances, I have worked on set designs and costumes for several theatre plays at Theatro Technis such as ‘The Cherry Orchard’, ‘The Persians’, ‘Anna Karenina’, ‘Oedipus King’, ‘Swan Song’ and ‘A Deed Without A Name’ as well as ‘Rumble’ at the Drayton Arms Theatre. I created a mural painting ‘Misterioso’ (7m20 x 5m50) in Shoreditch, which was the backdrop for ‘The Dancing Wall’ performance. I am currently developing projects with musicians, poets and dancers for upcoming events. I also write theatre plays based on my own poetry like 'Infinity Quest' which has been staged at Etcetera Theatre recently and 'Shattered Mirror' (work in progress).
Through my work, I aim to explore and transcend such notions as the invisible, movement, ephemerality and the intangibility of emotion through vivid colours and harmonious compositions of form, line and light. Throughout my practice, I value authentic representation and intensity in a process of ‘making visible’.
