UCLAN | | | About me | I am a fresh faced 26 year old actor with a playing range from 17 - 30. I am enthusiastic and reliable and have been interested in pushing the boundaries of myself, my body and performance since entering the second year of my degree in contemporary theatre and performance. I have recently had my lips sewn together live on stage as part of my final BA year module and take my art very seriously. I am most experienced in improvised theatre and feel that I am successful at this because I commit myself 100% to my work.
I am currently working for Burjesta Theatre on a play called Gathering Jack. I am the lead female (Annie) who is on a university placement at a local homeless institute when Liverpool is gripped in fear as the serial killer 'Gathering Jack' stalks the streets. As he haunts known Liverpool landmarks such as the Williamson Tunnels and St George's Hall, no woman is safe! Annie is sweet but smart and eventually unravels the mystery of the killer and brings him to justice.

I have been accepted onto a BA Contemporary Theatre and Performance course in September where I hope to develop my acting and improvisational skills further.
I also have a keen interest in live art and feminist productions that focus upon body image. I have recently performed naked in a live instillation to convey the issues surrounding the expectations put on women today to have perfect bodies.
I am able to adapt to any area of performance be it to command a theatrical stage or to engage children with topical issues in an intimate setting. I am looking to expand my experience and knowledge within the industry and feel that I would be an asset to any employer.
