University of Brighton | | | About me | | I'm based in London and Derby, and am happy to work in reasonable commute of either City. I'm currently working on the feature film 'Letter to Jeff', which is being filmed on location in Humberside and West Yorkshire, but am available for other projects in between this depending on the dates required, and time involved. | | | Any other information | | I'm a trained performing artist and have worked on a wide range of productions from blockbusters like 'Harry Potter' & 'Pirates of the Caribbean' to musicals such as Bollywood film 'The Honour Killing', choreographed by Longines Fernandez of 'Slumdog Millionaire', and the new adaptation of 'Les Miserables'. I've played a diverse range of roles from comedy such as 'Swinging with the Finkels', acting with Mandy Moore & Martin Freeman, to more dramatic performances such as an autistic man in 'The Truth About Stanley' by Trademark Films. More recently I've performed Hamlet in a new version of the play last year, and am currently playing an artist struggling to deal with childhood trauma in 'Letter to Jeff'. Many of my roles have been very physical, involving a high level of choreography & improvisation, so feel comfortable with the physical demands of large productions. I'm always seeking new opportunities to extend my experience & believe I can make a good contribution to any project. | | | Additional Skills | | As well as working in Performing Artist I am also an experienced visual artist, and ran a successful contemporary art gallery in London for seven years, curating large scale projets by British and International artists, architects and performance artists. I have also run several other businesses including a East London pub and venue. During my acting career I have acquired many new skills, most recently learning how pilot a barge in the film 'Letter to Jeff', so I am always game to push myself further for any role. | |
