About me

Benedetta, Italian born, moved to New York in 1995 for a few years, and then she finally settled in London.
She is particularly experienced in physical, experimental, devised theatre, but she feels at home with more realistic styles of acting as well. Alongside more conventional, text-based performances, she has been recently involved in Site Specific Projects and Multidisciplinary Performances.
She is naturally comic, almost despite herself, and she often gets cast as an eccentric nutter. She could be easily described as a quirky, bubbly, foreign type, a little scatty, a little intellectual.
Benedetta is very keen on taking ongoing training, particularly in Meisner and Viewpoints.

Certified Hatha Yoga Teacher (Integral Yoga Institute, NYC, and Sivananda Yoga Vedanta). Energy Healing. Sports: sailing, skiing, tennis, swimming, judo, horseback riding. Hobbies: crochet, knitting, drawing. Can play the recorder.
