REVIEWS:
Babes In Arms, Union Theatre:
'Jenny Perry, too, is rather wonderful as the self-deprecating Bunny Byron and perhaps comes closest to capturing the spirit of the show. Blessed with two of the best numbers in the score and a cast of nimble chorus boys to support her, Perry is a constant joy to watch whether camping up Way Out West On West Avenue or declaring a healthy lack of pretention in The Lady is a Tramp.'
(Paul Vale, The Stage 23/04/12)
'Jenny Perry plays Bunny Byron, part owner of the theatre who stands to lose her share unless the play is a hit. Perry gets some of the best numbers, including The Lady is a Tramp and performs them with pizzazz and then some.'
(Front Row Dress, 23/04/12)
'But the eye is really caught by Ben Redfern's charismatic Gus, well partnered by Anna McGarahan's buxom Terry in the delightful I Wish I Were In Love Again and by Jenny Perry's Bunny, the put-upon co-owner who blossoms under the spotlight and delivers some of the best songs with the straight-forward earnestness that shows like this need to in order to succeed.
(Ian Foster, The Public Reviews 23/04/12)
'Jenny Perry is also highly engaging as Bunny, co-owner of the theatre, put-upon assistant to the manager and perpetual maid who seizes her chance to be a leading lady.'
(Julia Rank, A Younger Theatre 23/04/12)
'Standout performers for me were Jenny Perry as Bunny and Catriona Mackenzie as Susie. Perry has unquestionably the strongest voice in the company and is excellent in The Lady is a Tramp. But
she also has a great line in quirky expressions, the slight twist to the mouth or the raised eyebrow.'
(Finn Pollard, Where's Runnicles? 18/04/12)
'Standout performances - Jenny Perry as Bunny, downtrodden part-owner of the playhouse, who gets the superb cod 'Way Out West On West End Avenue', 'Johnny One Note' and 'The Lady Is a Tramp', and proves she can do raunch with the best.'
(Timothy Ramsden, Reviews Gate 22/04/12)
'It is Jenny Perry who repeatedly stops the show, injecting some priceless Broadway pizazz with 'Way Out West', 'The Lady Is A Tramp' and 'Johnny One Note'.'
(Gerald Berkowitz, Theatre Guide London 22/04/12)
'Due to a striking sense of stage presence, Perry's depiction of the down-trodden yet feisty Bunny is laden with pizzazz and is highly watchable.'
(Jo Sutherland, One Stop Arts 23/04/12)
'...memorable musical numbers, the finest being Jenny Perry's renditions of 'Way Out West', ' The Lady is a Tramp' and ' Johnny One Note'.'
(Martin Green, Beige UK 23/04/12)

An Intimate Evening with D. D. Cupps, Barons Court Theatre:
'Jenny Perry could certainly sing (beautifully)'
(David Gleeson, Remote Goat 04/05/11)

Colette Collage, Barons Court theatre:
'Jenny Perry was superb as the young Colette'
(Judith Constable, Horizon 06/11/10)

S4K's Romeo & Juliet, UK Tour:
'The performances were, overall, very strong. Neal Andrews and Jenny Perry (Romeo and Juliet) were utterly convincing both apart and together, and they had a real chemistry that made you completely believe that they were genuinely in love (you wouldn't believe how many versions of this play I've seen were there's been pretty clear dislike or maybe even fear between the two actors, which always blows the production out of the water). I don't know how old Ms Perry really is, but she completely nailed the portrayal of an overly romantic and excitable teenage girl, and Mr Andrews had a charisma about him that meant that it wasn't at all surprising that Juliet would fall for him.'
(Andrew Carson, Daily Info Oxford, 08/10/08)
'Neal Andrews and Jenny Perry drew the audience in from their first meeting, their instant mutual attraction and duets, One Kiss and Just His Name, through to their ultimate tragic deaths.'
(Tony Flook, Dorking, 23/10/08)
'Juliet (a feisty Jenny Perry)'
(Anne Cox, Leighton Buzzard Online, 24/10/08)
'Neal Andrew as Romeo and Jenny Perry as Juliet presented fresh-faced performances'
(Liz Rowley, This is Staffordshire, 25/10/08)
'Matt Brinker's Romeo is disappointing. The meeting with Jenny Perry's Juliet lacks fire and passion and leaves poor Perry struggling to create some chemistry between them. She perseveres, to her credit, and she gives the second act its tragic tone.'
(Kevin Berry, The Stage, 15/01/09)
'Jenny Perry, a lively Juliet'
(Julia Anderson, Halifax Courier, 28/01/09)
'The titular parts, played by Matt Brinkler and Jenny Perry, both sang well.'
(Lucie Richards, Basingstoke Gazette, 29/01/09)
---
Into The Woods, Landor Theatre:
'Jenny Perry as Rapunzel warbles well from her high tower.'
(Michael Darvell, classicalsource.com, 23/09/09)
'Amongst the rest of the cast, Cinderella (Sue Appleby), Jack's Mother (Tricia Deighton), Rapunzel (Jenny Perry) and Rapunzel's Prince (Luke Fredericks) find a good balance, with some fine comic touches.'
(Andrew Roach, What's On Stage, 23/09/09).
---
Titanic the Musical, Mountview Academy:
'Down in Second Class, Jenny Perry was First Class as Alice Beane - diction and characterisation were perfect throughout and in her incredibly difficult "Embarkation" number.'
(Russel's Theatre Blog, 14/04/08)
