She show will consist of singing,acting,stand up comedy and bands.if anyone is interested or has any suggestions please let me know. Thanks. Mia Tizzano

Jenna.Sharpe 209 posts last on: 07/02/12 send private reply	I don't want to sound super negative but speaking from experience it is very very difficult to get agents and casting directors to attend showcases. The one I was part of we had a professional flyer produced, split up the agents and CDs in contacts, phoned them to check if they wouldn't mind us sending the invite, sent the invite along with some of our resumes/headshots. I don't think one industry person came. And it was a really talented group of people. I'm just saying this so people know what to expect. I think the date/time is the least of your worries as industry professionals don't seem to have the time and inclination to attend these events. There may be other people who can give the flip side of the coin who have taken part in showcases that were well attended...or perhaps some agents will say they do attend them...I don't know. But if your intention is that agents will come and discover you then you may well be disappointed.

Thank you for all your points and ideas. genna i do agree. industry people dont really like these things but im doing it more for experience than anything,i am not looking for an agent at the moment because i have one already but your point in a valid one so thank you. I am looking to change the month and try to do it around November although i have a couple of jobs now so timing may be difficult.and i need to check the venue is still available. Thank you all for your comments and for those of you who still want to participate ill be in touch. ;-)
