Hi
Four weeks ago I finally got my butt into gear and got a showreel produced (www.hi-films.tv - well recommended). In that short time I have got a job and an audition off the back of it, so I'm well chuffed! It's definately the thing to do, as any Casting Director has instant access to what you look like and how you perform. This also cuts down on wasting time and money going to auditions where you get there and it's obvious you are not what they are looking for. I would definately recommend getting a good quality showreel done. If you don't have the material to edit one together there are some Showreel companies who make them 'from scratch'. It's worth investing in.
