| Yeah, it worked for me. It's nicely put together and pacey and there's a good variety of material. The sound quality seems pretty good, and the quality of the material included is well reproduced. I appreciate that what you are building up to at the end is the climax of the final shot culminating with your character locked in the car, and its a good moment of crescendo, although it has the disadvantage that, for the last forty seconds or so of reel, we are primarily watching what the other performers are doing whilst your character is running for it, but that is a pretty minor quibble. I suppose, as is always the way with these things, the suggestion to place some kind of further contact details somewhere on the reel can be useful - but a) I appreciate that you can always reserve that for placing on the cover of a DVD itself if you are intending to send any versions postally and b) that if you are sending the reel as an online link, this may, indeed, become unnecessary. As it is an easy addition of an extra frame if needed, it's hardly anything to make a great fuss about. All in all, big thumbs up - I can't see any casting director being particularly unhappy when presented with such a reel. It ticks all their basic 'want' boxes - i.e. is short, pithy, gives a good impression of you, shows that you can work in 'pro' environments, etc. etc. and you can't really ask it for more than that. | |

| Thanks Lee, You're right, I put the running in for rythm but it kind of is wasted screen time; I need to look through my material and see if I can find something else that would make a strong ending. I didn't put contact details because I need to figure out the best way to do it considering I've got different agents in different countries. The reel will be on websites where my agents' details are easy to find; so I may leave it blank; I don't know yet. The part in French didn't bother you? I was wondering if I should add subtitles. | |

| Hello Claire... I liked your reel and I believe it shows that the camera also likes you. If I can be so bold? I would suggest that you use a "cross fade" effect between the last two scenarios to make the transit smoother. Have you got something you've done that has a contrasting "nasty" or "perverse" side to your acting abilities...just to show the wider spectrum that I'm sure you can portray? (I don't think you need subtitles...they will distract...the scene holds the viewer tremendously well without them...lol! You don't need agency details on your reels) Good Luck Claire! | |

| Very good, very watchable and the French was no problem, even for someone like me who never got beyond being able to say je joue Football et j'ai un frere! (I've probably got that wrong as it is!) Anyway, I digress... The shots look great, it shows you in several guises in a slick reel. I was certainly rather jealous! Good luck and I hope all your international agents (jealousy creeping in again!) get you a ton of work with it. | |

| Thank you everyone for your comments and PMs! You all seemed to agree so I've cut the running and put a different clip from another film instead where you get to see an angrier side of me and to hear me sing. Now the problem is that it has become too long and that my software has had formatting issues... I'll try to fix these; in the meantime, should I cut more out or is 2 min 40 acceptable? Thanks!!
