Hi,

Just wondered if anyone could give me any insight to how long is normal to wait for new headshots. I got mine taken 4 weeks ago and the photographer said she would contact me within 2 weeks.
I have since sent various emails and have tried to contact her on the phone and she has ignored every message.

I'm not sure what to do, she is a professional, one of the most popular on this site, yet I cannot get hold of her!

Any help appreciated

Thanks

That's really frustrating! I've never had that happen with a photographer and I'd be miffed!

Did you shoot on film or was it digital?

I'd let her know your concerns again by e-mail and phone within the next week. If she fails to make contact just to even let you now the score, I'd go back to see her directly and let CCP know!

If she's got lots of photo's on this site I'm sure there's a decent explanation that will resolve all!

All the best to you!

We shot digitally, I presume she must be having some sort of problem, but I'm a little annoyed she is even ignoring my emails.
I emailed yesterday, I'm going to try again on monday.

Thanks for the reply

Thanks all for replying and private messages. Trying to give her the benefit of the doubt but at the end of the day I have paid for a service and was promised it would only take 2 weeks.

I think it is only polite to reply to emails!

Completely miffed

If she shot on Digital. All she has to do is upload the shots of you to her computer (5-10 mins)

Make you a CD of all the Shots: About another 10 mins...less!

Post you the CD, keeping a copy at her end. 2-3 days?

So lets say she is really busy? After the 1st week.....you should have had a call to say...all is in hand etc

After the 2nd week......a very big sorry for the delay and an assurance they are in the post.

4 weeks.....???? I hope you have not parted with any money yet?

If NOT....I fear you may have lost your Pics by the sound of it?
.....if you have paid......call, email her all day on Monday....if still no response......write her a letter confirming legal action will be taken.

If still no response.....see about suing her in a small claims court. Citizens advice will have all the info you need.

Keep a proper log of all communications made from the first one onwards inc all emails...calls...times date and copies of everything.

.......having first correctly ascertained she is not ill....holidays etc etc

Thanks for your response. I few people have mentioned her in private messages so it seems I'm not the only one.

I have paid, she specified two weeks in the time she has responded to others via facebook groups etc.

I don't know what to think I could do without this hassle!

Another plan...Play dirty!

Get a mate to call her and book her for a pretend session, give her the address of your solicitor and meet her there!!
