| Hi everyone! My friend Zippy has a room available in Finchley - Please call him on 07899 903259 Thanks! There is a double room available in Finchley/ Hendon/ Mill Hill, depending on who you work for. The room faces North West, so it gets the Sun in the late afternoon/ early evening; it has a double bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers and some shelves. The house has a large kitchen, with gas cooker, microwave oven, fridge-freezer, standing freezer and washing machine. There is a large garden, with a patio and makeshift barbeque, ideal for this time of year. We have wireless broadband and Sky. There is on and off-street parking available. The area is fairly quiet and leafy, with beautiful river walks. Amenities: Newsagent, dentist, dry cleaners, post office, cashpoint, petrol station, fruiterer, organic Highland butcher, Chinese and Indian takeaways, kebab place, chemist, café, launderette, gentlemen's hairdresser, nail bar, Waitrose, doctor's surgery, Virgin Active Health Club and two pubs, all within 5 minutes' walk. Finchley Central has banks and more shops. We are 3 miles from Brent Cross Shopping Centre and 24hr Tesco and Ikea is not much further. Travel: We are situated just up the hill from where the M1, A1, A41 and North Circular Roads converge, so getting out of London is not an issue. There is a taxi place, just up the hill; the 240 bus stops 50 yards up the road, and the 221 and 382, a little further up the road. N13 and N20 night buses stop in Finchley Central. Mill Hill East tube station is 8 minutes' walk away and Finchley Central, 12 minutes, both on the Northern Line, approximately 25 minutes from Waterloo. We are in Zone 4. The people: Me; singer/ actor/ dancer, writer. The other chap; vegetarian, amateur stand-up comedian in the Royal Naval Reserves. The rent: £590pcm ( just under £137pw), which includes water, gas, electricity, Council tax, phone (not calls), Sky and broadband. Despite what you may have heard, I'm very quiet at home. I am a great cook and don't sing/ hum all of the time. | ||
