Hello all!

Yet again, another doubt (and debt, for that matter) plagued neurotic actor asks for opinions about his new headshots.

http://www.uk.castingcallpro.com/portfolio.php?uid=84323ℑ=350427

Do they look like the me in my (long and boring, and yes, I am re-cutting it, and no, you won't get the three minutes of your life back) showreel?

Should I be using the 'long hair out' shots for my profile pic, even though I consider the 'hair tied back' shots better pictures? Or am I crazysexybeautiful in ALL of them, dahling?

Will Princess Charming ever ask me to the ball?

Will anyone notice I forgot to pluck my monobrow?

Will that bloody theatre company get back to me with the date I'm auditioning so I can organise flights/trains/buses/camels/submarines?

And finally:

Who put the bomp in the bomp-shu-bomp-shu-bomp?

Looking forward to hearing from some/none/all of you!

Kirk 'Not quite as entertaining or annoying as SplatCat, but is willing to give it a damn good thrashing' Moore

They are all a lot more tune with your current look certainly; I think they do give a good impression of what you look like, and I can see why the ones with the hair tied back might be more adaptable - not least because they are more close up, and so allow the viewer to read the face better. Obviously, the long haired shots are going to be very useful in any situation in which you are aiming to get cast for the sake of the hair; otherwise, I suppose if you are tying it back, then the shots with the hair tied back are honest enough!

Oh My Goodness!!! How different do you look???

I really like the one that you're using. I don't know about men having their hair tied up...don't know what the form is. But I think it is important to show what you actually look like. So maybe you should have number 5 with your hair down.

good luck with your decision

I like the new ones too :)

They can see from your show reel what your hair looks like down and it's listed as being long, so tied back gives a good idea of your face.

Thanks to all who commented!

I've got another set of headshots due back in the next week or so... I'll have to see how purty I am in those, too!

Now, the ironic thing is, after getting all the new headshots done, I have to shave down to a moustache for my next project next week! D'oh!

Ah well, it'll only take a couple of weeks to grow the hairy chin based food and drink storage receptacle back...
