| Hi there fellow CCP'ers... Just wanted to see if this is the norm on here or if you've experienced similar? I applied to join a new agency via this site, who i thought were very well to do and got some good feedback from some of their actors on there books who told me they were well worth contacting.... I did this on 24th October 2009!!!! Just got a reply THIS week saying that they weren't looking to take on any more actors at the moment. So has this happened alot? Or and am i to actually believe that when we apply to join agencies via these Websites that the agencies actually recieve our applications immediatly? Or do we end up in a lottery filtering system out there in the cyber world until we hit an INBOX.... Any feed back would be great, it could change the way we apply to join agents and not end up waiting nearly 4 MONTHS to get told look elsewhere... Cheers Justin | ||

| I applied last January (2009) for an agent through CCCP and got the rejection last week! Luckily I applied elsewhere last year and was successful.....glad I wasn't hanging on their every......email. | |

| I think one has to take into account that most agents are inundated with letters for representation and some of these letters they write back come months later cos there are so many submissions. I dont think its necesarily due to disorganisation. The good side is that they DID get back to you. | |

| Nope I think I beat the record, I got a rejection letter from an agent just before Christmas in response to a performance notice I sent 3 years before! Luckily I wasn't sitting by the letter box waiting for that one. | |

| Hi Blake, Yes I agree but I got the email back through CCP, I don't even know if the agent actually saw it? Its abit like getting emails saying sorry this company has drawn up a list and on this occassion you haven't been successfull to jobs I haven't even applied for in the first place!!! | Yeah, I find those Application Not Taken Forward posts more off putting than not knowing!!! it almost seems like they made a special effort to NOT give it to you and let you know!!! | |
