JO ASKER 1 posts last on: 6 hours send private reply	Does anyone know of any agents that particularly focus on light or darker skinned actors/different ethnicities? I have been out of the country (working in the biz) for ten years and am trying to get back in - any help would be appreciated!

From what I gather a lot of agents feel they do not have a diverse range of actors on their books and will actively encourage submissions from actors who are Indian/Asian/African/mixed race etc. So I certainly wouldn't see it as a barrier to getting an agent and it might very well be a strength. Your headshot suggests to me that you could pass as various different nationalities which is quite useful for agents when submitting you for castings. Well anyway, good luck with it. Finding the right agent is like the quest for the Holy Grail for us actors right?

Yes Etnika is their name.my agents have a diverse clientel and are especially interested in the people who are returning to acting or have life experience-www.redhotentertainment.biz check them out.I have found them very supportive,goal orientated and have had some gd jobs even tho I am new to the profession.I don't think they have any one similar to you right now either.

It may be worthwhile looking around at all agents and seeing who requires people of your breakdown and approach them. Cheers Jim
