| I am going to be in COMPANY magazine out on feb12th because i got shot (yes shot with a gun)by some one i didnt know an he got away with it i was wanting to know how people think it will help/not help my chances of getting spotted or getting more castings All oppinois will be helpfull Lu | ||

| Hi Lu, First off Poor You!! Hope you are ok now!! I don't really think it will have any bearing. As a Producer/ Director myself I cast Actors by work done and auditioning/meeting. Keep going you'll get there!! Kind Regards, Guy Press | |

| Bloody hell! Shot! That's serious! Any publicity is good publicity as they say so, although it may not get you the dream acting role, it will certainly help raise your profile. I say again, Bloody hell!!! | |

| Well if they mention you are pursuing an acting career I certainly don't think it will hurt your chances! But I am guessing you are in the magazine to be a source of inspiration or to raise awareness which, (lets not kid ourselves), is far more important than raising your profile as an actor. So either way you are in a win win situation and I bet they took some great photos of you too, so you can use them for publicity or in your profile. Also you look spookily like my friend Louise... | keep your eyes peeled for the crimewatch castings they might think you look like you....but then again casting is a funny old biz there might be someone who looks even more like you :-) | |

| the shooting was quite bad (it shattered my arm,i was off sick for 13 weeks,and i lost a job on a 6 month tour )i didnt really see it as a acting oppertunity till the person doing the story said it i just wanted people to know that it happens to normal people,the person who shot me doesnt know me has never met me an has got away with it i just wanted people to know how unfair it is why should i suffer because someone wanted to play with guns. but saying that i now dont bite my finger nails and i dont drink coffee since iv been shot so its not all bad | |

| i also ment to say i have had to move house 25miles from where i got shot because i was depressed and scared to go out ect so im getting ther now but i dont think i will ever be over it,but what doesnt kill you makes you stronger how many actors can say they have been shot?lol | |
