| Just a quick post really to recommend a great website with great opportunities. I recently joined The Actors Society website as it seemed to have a wealth of information both from fellow actors,casting directors.agents and so on. One of the main objectives is the seminar/workshop listings page. Last night I went to my first workshop at the London Net Film School in Ealing with Louis Hammond -a top casting director. It cost £25 for three hours on cold reading audition technique and by jingo was it good. Louis always have his true opinion yethds your work was good or bad. He spoke with truth and with great experience of the industry. I just wanted to recommend joini the website so you too can get places on workshops like I did last night. It was amazing! |

I thought The Actors Society had put together a friendly and professional package that didn't cost the earth - some workshops I see are so expensive but this seemed like a reasonable recompense for a casting director's time, plus room hire etc. It was fun too! |

Yeah - you too, particularly the 2nd time you guys did the scene, it was really different to the first time round. Great. |
