| I cant top that.I did once get £50 for a recall.But Ive never ever been paid for an audition. | |

| no i dont think you get it, I didnt get paid two pounds to attend an audition. I applied for a casting that (in response) asked me to bring £2 to the audition to pay for their admin. Printing off my CV etc.... | |

| hey nathan, might be worth letting ccp know which company this was, because - as they quite rightly say in their comment to you - this is not allowed under the ccp rules. If people are replying to an ad and Then being asked for money, ccp should block them from making future posts (or at least have stern words!) xx Editorial comment | |

| You should always be able to get money back on a recall from any reputable setup, as I believe there is some kind of ruling in place (an Equity one, I'm not sure?) that allows an actor to be recompensed for a second audition. It's never claimable on the first round, mind, only once you have been called back in at the company's request. As to your point, Nathan, I think all of the good gentlemen here weren't exactly taking their comments seriously ;) | |

| Who remembers the London Shakespeare Company, who I think in 2001, charged £1 to audition. Hundreds applied before The Stage exposed them. "Administrative costs". I mean, come on! | |
