| Are you actively seeking representation? Are you a current member of spotlight? Do you have a 2-3 minute show reel that could be used on spotlight? As an actor seeking work for the past 3 years I have a limited but quality base of UK independent film industry contacts which may assist myself and prospective clients in attaining film roles in the independent film sector. Below is a short list of artists currently involved for a 4-6 month non commital trial period commencing February 1st 2010 with Steve James Garry (SJG). During this trial period I will be working with a minimal client base (Approximately 10 actors in total). The general idea is to test the spotlight system with this limited client base so that ALL POSSIBLE castings are taken into consideration for ALL AGENCY MEMBERS. Currently with SJG for your perusal... Zahir Ahmed (CCPro, IMdb) Clive Cope (CCPro, IMdb) Steve Garry (CCP, IMdb) Faye Morrison (CCP) Emma Lawford Wise (CCPro, IMdb) Feel free to contact these members through CCP. If you wish to trial with SJG please ensure that your spotlight subscription is up-to-date in the coming weeks. (Sadly 'Spotlight' is the 'TESCO' of the casting world and so this is a necessity for 'non named artists' looking to branch out into performance related fields such as web virals, commercials, radio, tv and film etc.) It's absolute necessity that all performers with SJG eventually display a good 2.5-3minute showreel on spotlight. If you are serious about this very lethal industry then make this a top priority...casting directors need to SEE and HEAR YOU IN ACTION before granting the audition from thousands of applications through hundreds of agents. And of course, I'll be bangin my head against a brick wall with every application sent on your behalf until its in place. *(No Commision will not be taken where roles have been attained for film projects through business links I have already made. Most projects will undoubtedly be deferred% independent film projects that most of us have already been subjected to and whose success at festivals and with distributors is buried deep in the laps of the gods)* Upload reels to your spotlight pages ASAP and inform spotlight of your agents name by email. Presenting and voice over work (Viral presentations/commercials and Radio) can also be displayed on your youtube page if you have experience in these fields. No notice period within this trial period of 4-6 months is required if you wish to remove your name. February 1st start dates with regular updates of applications made on your behalf.
