Hey folks,

Determined to make the absolute most out of the coming year acting-wise, and first on the ol' agenda is to obtain some evening work.

Anybody got any ideas?

Call-centre work would be preferable, but I'll put my hand to most things if need be...

Thanks in advance...and HAPPY NEW YEAR :o)

Ray

Hiya,

Happy New Year to all at CCP!!

I'm doing exact same thing at the mo, have a look on stuck for stuff.com - promotions work and stuff and also try reed.co.uk - although they cater mainly for office support roles, they do have some call centre evening unsocialable hours work, as many people looking for a 9-5 may not want to do these hours??

Good luck,
Vik

Hi guys,

You could try getting into broadband tech support for one of the bigger companies.

Some have support lines that are open 24 hours a day, consequently they need a night shift. They train you up and (trade secret) most of the answers run to a script/formula so it doesn't matter if you aren't that computer savvy.

I do know Kelly Services in Australia were one of the big recruiters.

What about getting a job working at one of the theatres - somewhere like the soho and the donmar. Then you'd get to watch some of the shows too...

I would say definetly look at companies who have 24 hour help lines and go on their websites and do the whole filling out the application form song and dance.

good luck!! x

Hi

All theatres are frequently looking for front-of-house staff where the turnover is quite high. Ask for the House Manager. Quite a few pubs need evening bar staff. Speak to the publican. Some late opening supermarkets need shelf stackers or check-out workers. It's tougher in credit crunch times, but not impossible for all that!
Good luck
Peter
