Highlights
-
I have taken a screen acting course and have filmed various scenes with Mark McGann and Drama Direct.
I also have experience as an extra in Casualty with the BBC and in smaller independent and student short films. -
I took basic ballet and tap lessons at university, I have experience dancing in many musicals and my final project at university was a choreographed contemporary piece inspired by the Marines training. As a team we choreographed a 40 minute dance piece which we performed to the Marines and a group of cadets, which achieved a high grade.
-
At University I studied Drama and I developed my experience by working on a variety of skills such as dancing, maskwork, puppetry, classical training and voicework, community theatre also devising and choreography.
My first professional performance was with Proper Job theatre company, working on a brand new piece of theatre, a musical inspired by The Secret Garden. During this I developed my ability to multi-role playing the Nurse, Mrs Portland and also puppeteer to the animals such as a robin.
In September 2014 I trained with the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School on a short modern acting course. During this week we worked on Table by Tanya Ronder inspired by Laban movement techniques.
I have TIE experience with Emerald Isle Theatre Company. During a seven month tour of France and Belgium I performed two plays, to assist in the learning of English as a foreign language. This project offered opportunity to develop my versatility and adaptability, using humour and strong physicality to aid the storytelling due to the language barrier.
I am currently performing with Flashback theatre company touring a two hander musical around care homes in the southwest, whilst in rehearsal for "Planet of the Zers" a comedy which will be taken to several small festivals, in Bristol and Maidenhead. -
I have performed in many musicals every summer from the age of 8 to 18, such as Bugsy Malone, Honk and Oliver. At university I performed with two musical societies Footlights and Shotgun musical theatre company.
I can play acoustic guitar and in my tour with EITC I sang and played the guitar on stage.
