About me
I graduated from East 15 Acting School with a Masters in Acting in October 2012. New Zealand born, British educated, I have spent many years in both countries and also worked in a variety of overseas locations. After a successful business career, I returned to acting, initially as a hobby, in 2007. Having decided to carve a career in acting in New Zealand, 2009 proved to be a busy year, winning the Best Newcomer for my role as Elsie in Frank Vickery's Family Planning, followed by a run of Thomas Sainsbury's Dinner Party Money, as Winnie Mellor. Moving into film, I took the lead role of Katrina in Shirin Brown's Plan B, which included all my own stunts - riding a BMX, driving a powerboat and working with children and animals! The movie has been well-received at a number of International Film Festivals. I moved back to the UK to take up my MA in Acting at East 15 and train professionally as an actor.Additional skills:
Full clean drivers licence, interviewing, training, corporate presenting, CTM Toastmaster, power boat licence, sailing, kayaking, yoga, horse riding, swimming, bike riding, roller skating / blading, skiing, movement/dance, basic French, basic Spanish, touch rugby, netball, contact improvisation, computer literate.
