| About | ROGUE is one of London's most respected and distinctive television commercials production companies. We pride ourselves on our reputation for innovation and the very individual way we represent our directors. The Rogue team comprises a dedicated production staff and an in-house creative department with a researcher and script editor. It is our aim to provide the ultimate, bespoke production experience. First established under the guise of Drum Films in 1974, the company was the production arm of The Moving Picture Company until 1983 when both companies were bought by Carlton Communications. Rogue Films was launched in 1994 and became an independent in 1998 when Executive Producers David van der Gaag and Charlie Crompton negotiated a management buy-out. Through our development of directors like Sam Cadman, Kevin Macdonald, Sam Brown and Ron Scalpello, we have gained a reputation for uncovering and developing new directing talent. Our other directors include Nicholas Barker, whose work has been described as a 'stroke of genius' by Alan Bennett, Johan Tappert, one of Sweden's top directors and new talent, Daniel Wolfe and Jonathan Lovekin. | |
