About me

If there is one thing about me that has held true since I was a child to the present day, I have loved stories. Being told them, reading them, writing them but most of all telling them. Acting was for me, the most natural way to tell a story. I have been involved in traditional and promenade performances of plays, as well as more recently working on the radio play "This Time Next Year" as well as doing TV and film work most recently on the BBC series "In the Club" and the feature film by Lionsgate "The Limehouse Golem".
Acting experience:
I've only just got back into acting, but previously I went to Redroofs Theatre School, to do musical theatre and then did a HND in Theatre (acting). More recently I have been in a number of productions of a theatre company called Nightshade productions where I started first as Dr Jekyl and Mr Hyde in "Jekyll and Hyde". I then starred as Ebenezer Scrooge in "A Christmas Carol" and then I . More recently I was in production of Christmas Carol
Dancing experience:
I trained in Ballet, Tap, Jazz and contemporary. First in Redroofs and then at Yorkshire Coast College and then at the Newcastle Dance Academy. Though I have trained and have experience I would'nt say I am a professional dancer.
Singing experience:
Singing training consisted of chorus and solo performances. I was trained at Redroofs.
Television experience:
I have only just started doing TV work, most recently I was working on two of the episodes of the BBC's "In The Club". Where I first played a golfer/Golf Club Diner and in the second episode I was a Nurse.
Specific skills:
I am diver, with a open water diving certificate through Paddy. I ride. I fence with sabre and foil, as well as Japanese longsword fencing (Kendo).
My interests:
Currently they involve re-kindling my interest in Kendo and iaijutsu.
Additional information:
I trained at Redroofs Theatre School, in musical theatre, then went on to do a HND in Theatre (acting). I went to Surrey to do a one year BA top up in Contemporary Theatre and then went to Newcastle Academy of Dance to do a foundation degree in Dance.
