Highlights
-
Acting professionally since 1984. Until 2009 I worked as Michael David.
I have worked in everything from the Mousetrap (Giles Ralston) in the West End to small scale tours of the Highlands, playing Robert the Bruce and 13 characters in 'Burke & Hare'.
I've done Private Lives (Eliot Chase) at the Redgrave in Farnham, toured with Derek Jacobi in Richards II and III, played panto baddies (Big Bad Wolf etc.), Scarecrow in The Wizard of Oz, Kostia in The Seagull and W.B.Yeats and Robert Louis Stevensin in plays of my own ('A Vision' and 'Ultimate Islands').
Most recently I played Leontes in The Winter's Tale in St Albans and William Burroughs in 'Naked Burroughs', which I also wrote, in London.
I'm Edinburgh born and bred and I'm hoping to move back this year, so I'm now actively looking for work in Scotlan again.
