About me
I came to acting later in life. I had been participating in concerts, locally, as a singer for some years, and realised that I had a real passion for live performance, and so decided to study acting at the University of the Highlands. When I auditioned for a supporting role in a low budget film being shot in the highlands, I was pleased to be given a role, and found that I really loved to act in front of the camera. As a person of middle age - I feel I have a wealth of life experience which enriches my ability to perform well, as I have a lot of experiences to draw on, which inform my acting.Skills

Highlights
-
I was selected as a model for the AA (automobile Ass) advertising campaign which will be used over the next five years.
-
During my two years of Acting and Performance studies, I had acting roles in six public performances in Elgin City Town hall. Following on from this I have had acting roles in three live theatre performances all of which were part of Eden Court Theatre's Christmas season entertainment in Inveness. This was good experience of playing to large paying audiences. I played a a cockney narrator in Sweeney Todd; a char-lady and narrator in A Christmas Carol; a nun in a comedy.
In 2013 I had a role with around 9 minutes screen time in a low budget film which was shot in the North of Scotland, which gave me valuable experience of acting in front of the camera. In 2016 I was a model in a stills shoot for the Automobile Association.
I have been singing in public for several years, with the classical ensemble 'Music for a While' which is comprised of amateurs and semi professionals, and was a member of two chamber choirs. I was awarded the category of 'Outstanding' by the judge, for my performance of Scottish song at the 2015 Inverness music festival. I also sing musical theatre.
