Highlights
-
I'm a recent graduate from The Oxford School of Drama. The 1 year postgraduate course included intensive training in theatre, film and radio.
Credits at the Oxford School of Drama include:
Viola, Twelfth Night, Blenheim Palace, directed by Rae Mcken
Sarah Hurst, Easy Virtue, Noel Coward, School Studio, directed by Steve Woodall
Alison, Noir, Peter Straughan, Soho Theatre, directed by Steve Woodall
Gwen, Surrogate, Jodi Gray, Soho Theatre, directed by Cordelia Monsey
I also have a Masters degree in Contemporary Performance Practice from the University of Kent. The course specialised in the exploration, both practically and theoretically, of all genres of theatre and performance. I chose to direct my time to postmodern performance, particularly into contemporary adaptations of classics.
Credits whilst at University include:
Miranda, The Tempest
Cordelia, King Lear
Mephistopholis, Doctor Faustus
Hedda, Hedda Garbler
Lorna, Riddley Walker
leaving University I have worked on a wide variety of film and theatre projects, as well as setting up my own theatre company, Brendan's Boat, based in Brighton. Most recently I played Blanche DuBois in an adapted version of A Streetcar Named Desire- a role that requires a heated exploration of most of the emotions a person can experience.
Credits after University include:
Chorus Member, 4.48 Psychosis, Sarah Kane, at Hull Truck Theatre, directed by Ross Drury
Jenny, The Shape of Things, at Ropetackle Arts Centre, directed by Ross Drury
Blanche, A Streetcar Named Desire, The Basement Arts, Brighton, directed by Ross Drury
