About me

A versatile lead and character actress for stage and screen. I also work as a presenter and visual artist.

During 2018 I covered the role of Mary Tyrone played by Lesley Manville in Long Days Journey into Night. Following a run at the Wyndham's Theatre in the West End the production then toured the U.S. in New York at B.A.M and the Wallis Anneberg Theatre in Los Angeles

TV work includes playing the UK News Anchor in David Walliam's 'Billionaire Boy', and a Politician in a comedy short for Channel 4.
Screen work includes, a UK Headmistress in a Bollywood feature and a Senior member of the Clergy in a Horror Feature.

Theatre roles include covering Tyne Daly in the lead role of Maria Callas in Terrence McNally's, 'Masterclass', at the Vaudeville Theatre in the West End following it's Broadway transfer. Playing Helen Alving in Ibsen's, 'Ghosts’ at the Greenwich. Creating the role of Lady Viginnia in Oscar Wilde's last attributed play 'Constance' at the Kings Head Theatre.

I also work as a voice artist and presenter.

I am also a professional visual artist under my given name: Deborah Pearse exploring ideas of transformation, communication and creativity.
