About me

I have been a film extra since i retired 5 years ago and love being part of the industry. Always been interested in having the opportunity to model clothes for the older lady as we like to wear modern clothes with flair - we are no longer grey haired grannies. I am 5'8", dress size 12 - naturally curly (dyed light brown) hair (willing to go grey or wear a wig if the opportunities are there). Cheerful, easy going disposition

Highlights

  • I am so excited to be retired and have time to be involved in my passion of all things theatrical. I have recently done extra walk-on roles for "A Casual Vacancy" (via The Phoenix Agency) and a film on Munchausen Disorder. I have been in local musical theatre for 20 years (this year we are doing Calamity Jane so likely to be doing the can-can again but my favourite will always be Fiddler on the Roof) plus the occasional pantomime.
    I have had parts with the Bare Bones Theatre Company (a travelling theatre group in Herefordshire - my favourite role being Maxine in "Stepping Out" where we tapdanced our way through the play) over the last 10 or so years. I am a retired English teacher and have a love of the written and spoken word. I am involved in my local Talking Newspaper for the Blind as both recording technician and reader (Forest Talk). I have been involved in recording Talking Books for my dyslexic students over the years.
    I can dance and have a good sense of rhythm - keep fit, yoga and gym. Good sense of fun and willing to do most things - serious or otherwise. Love working with children and animals (have two grandchildren, a dog and two cats). I would love to be an extra in film and tv or anything you might think me suitable :)
