About me
Recent experience of TV and film work as extra and featured artist with dialogue can play 60 to 75.My theatrical career began at the age of 12, when I appeared in a professional production at the Royal Court Theatre in Liverpool and later as a film extra in ‘Ferry ‘cross the Mersey’. I took part in BBC Television’s ‘The Acting Game’ and in drama festivals in London and the North of England. I joined The Fortune Theatre Group on the Wirral and played leading roles, later moving to Yorkshire, where I directed and acted in many local productions.
On joining The Swan Players I, again, directed and acted in plays written by local playwrights and worked alongside actors with similar aspirations as myself, in a variety of leading and supporting roles. I have recently taken ‘acting to camera’ classes to enhance my knowledge of the film/TV industry.
Having retired from my teaching career, I have since appeared in ITV’s ‘Emmerdale’ and in ‘The Rise‘, a feature film, in a cameo scene, with Timothy Spall and in a corporate training film - a speaking role. My most recent experience is a speaking role in a feature film directed by Oscar winning Guiseppi Tornatore in a scene with a 'Bond 'girl.
I am now fully able to pursue my life time ambition to work in film and television and use my varied experience in supporting acting roles.
Acting experience:
