About me

Alex is an English actor, voice artist, director. His career has covered a diverse range of experience working as an actor/director and dancer/choreographer in film, theatre, radio and television.

Alex was first commissioned as a dancer/choreographer by the recording artist Anne Clark to perform on the Word-Processing Tour 1997/98. He subsequently choreographed and performed in animations, plays, club events, themed nights and private parties.

Alex has since established an acting career and has performed in a number of theatre productions most notably playing Vincent Van Gogh in Nicholas Wrights "Vincent In Brixton", Simon Bliss in Noel Cowards "Hay Fever" and Reverend Charles Tucker Eland in "The Bricks Of Burston".

He has also contributed voice-overs for, "The Phantom Of The Opera", audio book for Word Of Mouth Productions, audio tours for The Bridewell Museum for Renvision and Bury St Edmunds Audio Tour for Jabu Designs and narrated short stories for the BBC Radio Norfolk, "This Norfolk Life".

He has also contributed public readings for a book launch of Dick Meadows "Nothing But The Truth", about the history of the Norwich Magistrates and the Brecks Train Launch for the Brecks Partnership promoting the Breckland District Train Line.

In addition to this he has collaborated with the surrealist art photographer Marco Sanges on two photo-plays , "The Blood Of A Gambler" and "Unchained Melodies". He has also collaborated with the Maltese photographer Antonella Muscat on two photoshoots.

Alex has acted in two art films, "Blue Light", playing Charles Altamon Doyle directed by Hayley Lock and "Nulla Fidians (Nothing Believers) playing a Reformation Commissioner directed by Anna Brass, a music video for Baron for their single "New Follower" for Carwell Casswell and an interactive video for Xenodu Ltd.

In 2012 Alex made his directorial debut directing a music video with Alexandra Bone for Sanguine Sea for the single "Until The Cavalry Come".

Alex aims to draw on all his skills and experience and collaborate with film-makers, animators, photographers, artists, musicians, designers and writers to create challenging and ground-breaking work.

Additional Information

Alex is currently focusing on screen, photographic and voice work. He is in the process of developing a few voice-over projects narrating poems, excerpts from plays and short stories collaborating with the French composer Thomas Zobrist and sound engineer Chris Bond.
